Krispy Kreme Fundraiser

CBO brought delicious Krispy Kreme all the way from Delta to our community of West Vancouver. Our local Fresh St. Market & IGA were incredibly generous in hosting us in their venue. There, student volunteers dedicated their Sunday afternoons to selling boxes of donuts for a good cause. We are incredibly grateful to report that, with the help of the entire community, we earned more than $1300 in profit.

Sundaes for Service

Sundaes for Service was an in-school fundraiser aimed at raising money for Feed the Need and From the Bottoms Up. The External Relations team hosted a sundae bar where volunteers served a custom order of delicious ice cream and toppings. Ultimately, we were able to raise a profit of more than $500. CBO members were able to shape the event from start to finish — planning, preparing, and operating the pop-up.

Roedde House Halloween

In partnership with Vancouver's beloved Victorian museum, CBO strives to boost the organization's youth engagement. Collingwood students were able to aid the museum in opening up its doors for the first time on Halloween. Volunteers had a wonderful time decorating the museum with Halloween spirit and handed out candy to excited children. Students are eager to continue working with the Roedde House, planning events that enrich the community.

Holiday Grams

Looking for a way to simultaneously boost holiday cheer and funds for our partner organizations, the Externals Team rolled out the Holiday Grams initiative. Students were able to purchase cookie grams and dance grams to send to their friends and teachers. With a dedicated team of dancers and volunteers, the CBO was able to successfully execute our final initiative of 2022!
